LJILJANA MALETIN VOJVODIC at KONSTEPIDEMIN residency project, Gothenburg, Sweden
From Konstepidemin web site
”Konstepidemin is Sweden’s biggest workplace for independent artists. Since the 1980s, we have been located near Linnéplatsen in Gothenburg, where we house 130 professional practitioners of artistic disciplines, including visual artists and designers, musicians, writers, directors, filmmakers, actors, dancers etc. Konstepidemin is a central meeting place for the arts and culture of Gothenburg, and a catalyst for numerous ideas and thoughts in the fields of visual arts, literature, theater and music. Konstepidemin has run an artist-in-residence program for more than 20 years. We have five studio apartments and accept 15-20 international artists, writers, musicians, curators and speakers annually. The productive artistic environment, and the opportunity to develop one’s artistry and projects locally, is an important reason why artists seek us out, and often return. We aim to involve our artists-in-residence in public interaction, initiating both aesthetic and political conversations, and we welcome a variety of artistic positions.

Gotenburg Art Book comes from a few narrative sources, one of which is thinking about questions of address and form in the making of art and art books: steps in the writing process, pre-writing, brainstorming, researching, writing down all ideas, reorganizing, rearranging, adding or deleting content etc.
